I thank La Union for so many things. Before my Mom moved to the States about six years ago, I spent every summer there. I have a lot of family (Dad’s side) in La Union. My cousin, Danielle, has a beach house right next to mine. Our houses are right in front of the beach, so you can imagine how crazy our childhood adventures were!

Yes we did everything we possibly could. Kayaking, swimming, jellyfish hunting (only the orange ones of course, they never stung), cave hunting, rock climbing her stone walls, sand castle making, surfing, snorkeling, jet ski, sea snake hunting, so much more!!

I still love going there every now and then to take a break and relax. I spent 2 of my most recent weekends there and as usual, it was very relaxing.

My favorite thing to do there now is to watch the stars up in the sky at night. You can see so many of them and if you look closely, you’ll be able to count shooting stars! Need need to buy good binoculars soon.

Anyway, I finally bought myself a pomeranian. I named him Casper! He is the cutest and I totally love him! Because he’s so cute I really don’t mind stepping on his poop every once in a while….

All i’m really looking forward to right now is summer! I can’t wait to finally go to Europe and see how amazing it is! My grandma, brother and I are all booked already. My sisters aren’t coming along because they are busy with school, but they will be spending their summer here in Manila (June - Aug). We’ve got something very exciting planned ;)

Can’t make sense of it ♥

“Through thousands of years the feeling of being ‘in love’ has been described as one of the most beautiful ever. A person ‘in love’ is optimistic, humane and most importantly has the ability to love a fellow human being. All through your life you may have many people. These people include parents, relatives, siblings, friends, etc. However, ‘in love’ is different than loving all those around you.

Love is very difficult to describe. This subtle feeling may occur because of a single look, smell, words, appearance can change the way you feel about someone. Though most of the time it is the physical appearance that that plays a huge role in initially attracting someone to you. However, love is not just a physical attraction; it is as spiritual and emotional as physical. Therefore, if people do not vibe will with each other spiritually, physical attraction may wear off soon.

When you are ‘in love’ you will feel a strong bond between you and the other person. You will always be on the lookout for this person. The feeling of being in love is one of the most beautiful of them all. You will find that everything around you is bright, sunny, optimistic, happy, etc. Being in love is a unique experience all human beings should undergo.”

I’ve felt this way and I totally agree. The way I experienced it somehow reminds me of a shooting star. So beautiful, so bright.. but so quick. Too quick. So effortless and perfect in the moment, very hurtful and gone the next.
